We never had this dish--Gratin de Morue au Fromage--on Saturday night, but we did spend a considerable amount of time talking about Andre Soltner and Lutece. I'm not sure anyone ever was able to eat there. I think this book was a close as we got. It was fun to dream though.
This is also an homage to Willie's mastery of French cooking. We had our own Andre in the family--Willie!
