The Nagle family homestead

Patty came across an old school project of mine that involved a family tree. It prompted me to start a little research to see what I could find/confirm.
Here's a shot of the Nagle homestead at 419 Willis Avenue, taken between 1939-1940 by NYC. The 1930 census shows Michael Nagle living here with 5 of his kids and one niece. His son John also lived here with his wife and 6 kids. Twenty one other people lived in the building, spread among four multi--generational families.
More to come.

I wonder if the paint store--lead, fumes, etc.--contributed to some of the eccentricities of the Nagle family.
