Dinner at Buffet de la Gare.

Thanks to the KK gift certificate from Uncle Joe, we dined last night at my favorite French restaurant in Hastings.
I had Escargots de Bourgogne, Confit de Canard with Lentils de Puy. UJ had twin cups of soup: Asparagus and Leek and along side of it: Wild Mushroom followed by crispy medallions of sweetbread in a chablis/mustard sauce. We followed these with an assorted cheese plate, double Expresso, and fine Calvados. The above meal was accompanied by a 1998 Ch. Grand Puy Lacoste - a superb Pauillac.
