Julie, LuAnn, and I had a very nice dinner at Vie last night. All of the dishes make the best of local ingredients, some of which the chef skillfully pickles. I had the quail, bean salad, and the "kobe" steak, which was from Texas and not Japan, thus we're still financially solvent this morning. All washed down with a nice Rioja.
Just one more reason to pay a visit to Chicago.
